Ed Wood’s Plan 9 From Outer Space is said to be the worst movie ever made. The 1950s film is about aliens who come to Earth and reanimate dead bodies as part of their total domination plans. The weird, elliptical script, wooden acting, and rubbish special effects made Plan 9 from Outer Space a movie that defined the “so bad it’s good” genre. Now according to /film, indie director John Johnson is planning on remaking the film as a non-campy, character-driven move that will apparently be very scary. He’s calling it Plan 9, or just P9. No one knows quite why he’s doing it though.
