A film company set up in Taranaki last year has found a replacement director to film the story of New Zealand’s greatest war hero, Captain Charles Upham, VC and bar.
Fat and Thin Productions said the new director is Justin Chadwick, who helmed The Other Boleyn Girl and the BBC production of Bleak House.
Plans for the film, Mark of The Lion, were announced in 2006 when Fat and Thin bought exclusive international rights to Captain Upham’s biography for three years. [stuff]
