Posted by admin On July - 16 - 2008

“Lost” writer and feature scribe Craig Rosenberg has signed on for two new projects.

The scribe has his eye on “Second Sight,” signing up to pen the screenplay for Universal’s adaptation of the popular U.K. TV series.

He also is set to make his directorial debut with apocalyptic mystery “The Panopticon.”

“Sight” centers on a detective who is losing his sight and must employ other skills to solve murders. Don Murphy and Susan Montford are on board to produce the film.

The 1990s BBC production ran in the U.K. as two sets of miniseries over two years.

“Panopticon” centers on a medical salesman who receives a mysterious videotape from himself telling him the world will end and that he must stop it. Lorenzo di Bonaventura is set to produce. Rosenberg will direct from his own script.

Rosenberg, who in addition to serving as executive story editor on “Lost” penned Brett Ratner’s 2004 New Line thriller “After the Sunset,” has also written the screenplay for DreamWorks’ haunted-house tale “The Uninvited.” [thr]
