Bride Wars is what you get when your bridal planner manages to book your dream wedding on the same day at the same venue as your best friend. For years Emma (Hathaway) has put up with Liv’s (Hudson) controlling ways, now she’s getting married she’s not going to put up with it anymore.
This is a true chick flick with all the angst of childhood wedding dreams gone awry. Both Emma and Liv lose sight of their close friendship in efforts to better the other and end up realising the true value in their relationship.
If you want a bit of light “fluff” then this is the movie for you. Take your girl friends with you for a bit of a laugh. It’s a movie you can check your brain out at the door though.
