After relaying the news that YouTube had signed new agreements to host full length films on their site, one of my Twitter followers informed me that there were already a couple of full length films already available, the first being Supersize Me. And what do you know, but they’ve allowed them to be embedded on anyone’s site. A feature that I’m sure will be disabled on YouTube’s forthcoming new premium content. But for now, thanks to Cinetic, you can enjoy this ground breaking documentary, for free.
Filmmaker Morgan Spurlock makes himself a test subject in this documentary about the commercial food industry. Rigorously eating a diet of McDonald’s fast food three times a day for a month straight, Spurlock is out to prove the physical and mental effects of consuming fast food. Spurlock also provides a look at the food culture in America through its schools, corporations, and politics as seen through the eyes of both ordinary citizens and health advocates.
