Hilary Swank plays the role of Juliet Devereau, an attractive young doctor who begins a new life in Brooklyn after separating from her partner. Almost at the end of her wits whilst looking for an apartment, she discovers a stunning and spacious loft which seems a little too good to be true. The owner has good reason for the rent to be affordable and the apartment to be available, and he’s a bit of a looker, so maybe it’ll be fine.
Living alone for the first time in a while and in a new place however gives Juliet a mild case of paranoia. Maybe she should hook up with the owner and things would be ok. But no, rebound sex is a bad idea.
